Mendy Katz - President

Mendy Katz has been actively involved in the real estate industry for over 20 years. Mendy started his professional career in New York City, providing support for high profile magazines, photographers and various print and film companies as a professional service executive. 

With a passion for real estate, he moved to Connecticut in 2003, and began managing single family and multi-family homes. As his success grew, so did his client base, executing the growth of a 40-unit property and estate management company into a 2000-unit conglomerate in just under 3 1/2  years. In 2018, Mendy began consulting larger real estate companies around the U.S. By utilizing his experience and knowledge, he developed savings plans to increase ROI (Return of Investment) and collectively saved his clients over $9 million dollars. He also implemented strategies to improve resident quality of life, communication, workflow and enabled higher retention rates.

Mendy is very active in his community and created a neighborhood chat sharing important information and volunteer opportunities. He is a certified FEMA volunteer, along with medical training as an EMT.

During his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing pool, watching sports and spending time with his family. 

Carol Caprio - Vice President

 
 

It all began with her love of art and design at an early age. Carol was surrounded for many years by the hard work and creativity that her mother dedicated to her interior decorating business. From a child to adulthood, she was exposed to many facets of design and developed a keen eye for aesthetics. Her knowledge and great attention to fine detail makes her a genuine asset to her clients. Her skill set is the product of vast experience in many areas of business. Her background is rare and diverse and allows her to mix her creative passions with her “no nonsense” business savvy.

Carol attended Quinnipiac University as a Pre-Law major with a concentration in International Business. She held positions of authority in the U.S. Navy as a Presidential Honor Guard in Washington, DC and is a U.S. Navy Gulf War Veteran. She also worked as a paralegal for 10 years, which allows her to have a great understanding of contracts and further enhances her fiduciary role with her clients.

Carol also worked in sales and public relations for some of the hottest companies in the high-end beauty and fashion industry, including Chanel, Calvin Klein, Saks Fifth Ave and Michael Kors.

Her powerhouse combination of business, creativity and general love of helping others is what brought Carol to the business of real estate. Her strong work ethic, coupled with her enthusiastic and positive attitude, makes for a very pleasurable and rewarding experience for her clients.

Carol is a Licensed Realtor in Connecticut specializing in the listing, leasing, purchasing & marketing of residential and commercial real estate in the CT/NY marketplace. While successfully helping to lease up multi-family residential properties in Connecticut, she also gained extensive property management experience.

Carol is a member of the Stamford CT Board of Realtors, The Connecticut Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She was Creative Director and Writer for Los Angeles-based, Home & Realty Magazine and a contributing writer for “Greenwich Girl” magazine (Greenwich, CT) focusing on the topic of luxury real estate and interior design. Carol has happily taken her passion further with luxury real estate as Vice-President of Monarch Estate Services LLC.

In her free time, she enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle, literary, the outdoors, museums, and the arts. She is also a proud and devoted mom.
